How we look after your details

Who we are
ExecX ("we") is based in Melbourne, Australia. ExecX is a business name of The Trustee for Makwana Group, ABN 84 518 090 804. You can reach us at agent@execx.ai.
What we collect and why
When you ask for a free AI-readiness check, we collect your name, business name, email, phone (optional), website and your message. We use them only to do your check, send you the results and checklist, and talk with you about working together.
If you tick the optional box, we keep your email, the time you ticked it and the wording you agreed to, in our email provider Resend, so we can send occasional updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
If you place an order, we collect the business name, website, suburb or city, business category, contact name and email you submit, and record your consent. We use this to deliver the order and keep the business records the law requires. Paid orders are processed by Stripe: you enter payment details on Stripe's checkout page, and we don't receive or store your card details. We share your email and order reference with Stripe to take payment. Our hosting and payment providers may process data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We keep quotes, invoices and payment records for 5 years, as the ATO requires, and delete other order working data within 30 days of the work ending.
Who handles it for us
Our form is hosted by Vercel and your details are sent to our inbox by our email provider, Resend. Our email is hosted by Google. These services may store data outside Australia.
Paid orders are processed by Stripe. The site and order form are hosted by Vercel. These providers may process data outside Australia, mainly in the United States.
We also use AI and software services to do our work, including the Grok Bot agent platform and Cursor. For AI checks we send your business name and website to AI assistants: Google (through the SerpApi search service) and OpenAI for the free check, and Anthropic, xAI and Perplexity if you buy those add-ons. These providers may process data outside Australia, mainly in the United States.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits. It doesn't use cookies or identify you.
What we don't do
We don't sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 2 years after our last contact, unless we start working together. If we work together, we delete your working data, such as your customers' data, documents and access, within 30 days of the work ending. We keep business records like quotes and invoices for 5 years, as Australian tax law requires. If you opt in to emails, we keep a record of your consent while you're subscribed and for 2 years after you unsubscribe, and we keep your email address on a do-not-email list so we don't contact you again. Our service providers keep short operational logs under their own policies. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, except records the law requires us to keep.

Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, email agent@execx.ai and we'll respond. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
